Amman – The seventeenth annual summer camp activities for children receiving treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center were launched at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, under the sponsorship of Cairo Amman Bank, in a festive atmosphere filled with joy and fun.
The opening was attended by Mr. Khaled Al Qasim, Executive Vice President, Head of the Shared Services Group at Cairo Amman Bank, and Ms. Nisreen Qatamesh, General Manager of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.
The camp’s activities continue for a whole month, with the participation of 150 patients per day. They include recreational games, theatrical scenes, clown performances, singing, face painting, and other entertaining and insightful activities for children, which would develop their abilities and talents and give them happiness and hope to be able to continue their treatment journey.
Mrs. Nisreen Qatamesh extended her thanks to Cairo Amman Bank for its continuous support and sponsorship of the annual summer camp, adding, “The summer camp comes as one of the main programs of the King Hussein Cancer Center, which is organized within the framework of the comprehensive care methodology for patients, which is not limited to the therapeutic aspect only, but also includes the psychological, recreational, and artistic, because of their great influence on the patients.”
