Amman – Mideast Aviation Academy has joined the world of smart cards through an agreement with Cairo Amman Bank to convert the ID cards of students, faculty, and staff members into “multi-purpose smart cards”.
Mideast Aviation Academy is the 20th institution to benefit from this service, which Cairo Amman Bank excels in within the local banking sector.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Kamal Al-Bakri, the CEO of Cairo Amman Bank, and Mr. Mohammed Mo’een Masoud, the General Manager of Mideast Aviation Academy.
Cairo Amman Bank has successfully achieved a real partnership between the economic and higher education sectors, which serves the interests of the country and supports comprehensive development, benefiting its citizens and institutions.
The multi-purpose smart university card serves as an ID card that enables its holder to access various university facilities, in addition to serving as a payment card that allows its holder to make payments at various points of sale inside and outside Jordan, as well as online purchases and cash withdrawals.
Holders of the smart university cards can also recharge these cards through Cairo Amman Bank branches, which are available across the Kingdom, and through electronic payment kiosks that will be provided within the academy in the near future.
This card enables its holders to enjoy discounts when used within a wide network of commercial outlets contracted with the bank across the Kingdom.
