Cairo Amman Bank Silver Sponsor of the King Hussein Cancer Research Award 2023 and 2024

In a bid to bolster scientific research in the field of cancer across the Arab world, Cairo Amman Bank has proudly announced its silver sponsorship of the third and fourth cycles of the King Hussein Cancer Research Award.

Launched in 2020, the King Hussein Cancer Research Award stands as one of the most prestigious scientific accolades in the Arab world, dedicated to advancing cancer research. The award supports efforts to combat cancer through advanced scientific methods, focusing on understanding the unique characteristics of cancer and studying Arab genes specifically.

This esteemed award has galvanized Arab scientists and researchers, encouraging them to participate and contribute to the development of cancer research in the region.

In a ceremonial event, His Royal Highness Prince Talal bin Muhammad, on behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II, honored the researchers who were awarded the King Hussein Cancer Research Award for the years 2023 and 2024. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, along with numerous other dignitaries including princes, ministers, and members of the Award’s Board of Directors. The board features some of the most prominent oncologists, doctors, and researchers from around the globe, as well as media professionals, partners, and supporters of the Award, including Cairo Amman Bank.
